Yoga Sessions

We will discuss our current physical and emotional concerns so that I can tailor a practice to suit your needs. Each session is healing and therapeutic.  You will receive a private yoga class with adjustments and teaching unique to your needs. Some clients prefer to focus specifically on postures, while others find that sessions are equally beneficial for addressing both physical, emotional and spiritual concerns.  Sessions can also be supportive when going through difficult life situations or managing difficult emotions.  Yoga coaching packages are also available to support you in incorporating a regular yoga practice into your life.

What is Tantric Hatha or "Bliss" Yoga?

Tantric Hatha Yoga, or Bliss Yoga as it is affectionately referred to, is a gentle, therapeutic and restorative spinal-based yoga practice.  It gently opens the spine from the base, the tailbone, to the neck and skull. This is a practice of releasing tension and opening, giving attention to the root causes of most back, neck, shoulder and tension pain. Each posture is gentle and supports a natural unraveling of physical and emotional tension, allowing for the experience of greater bliss, deeper meditation and more natural joy in one's life. 

There are countless health benefits associated with yoga practice including decreased blood pressure, decreased physical pain and tension, decreased stress and anxiety, elevated mood, increased confidence and overall improved energy. This style of yoga also addresses symptoms related to trauma, depression and anxiety.
