  Yoga for Your Back
Four Thursday Evenings

August 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th
6:30pm-8:30pm
$100-150 sliding scale

This four-week series will explore the physical and emotional roots of back pain, shoulder tension, neck pain and headaches. Classes will include spinal based Tantric Hatha Yoga practices to address pain and tension at the root in the body, as well as meditation, visualization and breathing practices for working with emotional and physical pain. Classes will also explore structural anatomy, the nervous system, the connection between stress, emotions and physical pain, as well as address specific individual needs and questions.  Participants will receive individualized attention during asana practices to determine appropriate practices based on personal needs.

- Learn a gentle, therapeutic and restorative spinal based yoga practice.
- Learn breathing and visualization techniques for working with pain.
- Explore connection between emotional pain and physical pain.
- Discover bliss and relaxation in your mind and body!
